About the Role

The HR Representative will serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding human resources policies, processes, and programs. The individual will handle daily administrative HR tasks, assist in recruitment efforts, maintain employee records, and support employee relations activities. A successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Employee Relations: Act as the first line of support for employee inquiries, providing information on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Recruitment Support: Coordinate job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assist in the hiring process.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate new hire orientations, oversee paperwork completion, and maintain accurate employee records.
- HR Administration: Maintain and update employee files, track attendance, process HR documentation, and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
- Policy Implementation: Communicate and enforce organizational policies and procedures, assist in policy revisions, and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
- Data Management: Input and manage data within HRIS systems, generate standard HR reports, and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization’s compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, support audits, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in human resources or a similar administrative role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or other HR management systems is a plus.

  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.

    • Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Problem-Solving: Capable of handling employee issues and resolving concerns with professionalism and tact.

    • Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with peers and other departments to achieve HR and organizational goals.
