  • Automation & deployment: Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and reduce manual work.
  • Monitoring & troubleshooting: Establish logging, monitoring, and alerting practices to maintain high availability and quickly resolve issues.
  • Security & compliance: Implement and enforce best practices for cloud security and data protection, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Optimization: Perform ongoing performance tuning, resource scaling, and cost management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Development, Security, and DevOps teams to plan and roll out new services or improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of the cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
Requirements

Education & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years (5+ years for Senior level) of hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Technical skills

  • Proficiency in designing and managing cloud-native services (EC2, S3, VMs, Storage Accounts, Compute Engine, etc.).
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, load balancing, DNS, VPN).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

Soft skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred

  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect).
  • Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda Functions, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions).
  • Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
